About Me

I’ve spent two decades in the trenches of addiction and mental health therapy, walking side by side with people through their own underworlds. I’ve seen real-life heroes—people who’ve faced unimaginable demons—fight their way back to the light. But that work came at a personal cost. Burnout, compassion fatigue, and a broken healthcare system pushed me to my own breaking point. After a physical attack left me with a concussion and months of recovery, I finally listened to what my gut had been screaming for years: it was both time for career change and time to write.

During a trip to Ireland led by a local shamanic practitioner, I’d planted the seed for the Last Battle of Moytura series, a dark, mythic fantasy where reluctant heroines face ancient gods and crumbling worlds. Like my patients, my characters are ‘broken’, but they rise to the occasion. The people I helped inspired me to battle through my own fear and publish my stories. Now, I write from my home in Pennsylvania, crafting stories of myth, magic, and resilience, because if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that even when everything falls apart, it’s only an opportunity to rise and thrive.
